AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: A meeting of the National Advisory Committee for AcuteExposure Guideline Levels for Hazardous Substances (NAC/AEGL Committee)will be held on December 5-7, 2007, in Orlando, FL. At this meeting,the NAC/AEGL Committee will address, as time permits, the variousaspects of the acute toxicity and the development of Acute ExposureGuideline Levels (AEGLs) for the following chemicals: 1,1,1-trichloroethane; 2-chloroethanol; allyl chloride; boron tribromide;carbonyl fluoride; carbonyl sulfide; chloropicrin; chloropivaloylchloride; diethyl dichlorosilane; dimethyl chlorosilane; ethyltrichlorosilane; ethylene fluorohydrin; methanesulfonyl chloride;methyl iodide; methyl vinyl dichlorosilane; N, N -dimethylformamide; Nerve Agent VX; stibine; sulfuryl fluoride; tetrachloroethylene; thiophosgene.

DATES: A meeting of the NAC/AEGL Committee will be held from 10 a.m. to5:30 p.m. on December 5, 2007; 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on December 6,2007 and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on December 7, 2007.

I. General Information
A. Does this Action Apply to Me?
This action is directed to the public in general. This action maybe of particular interest to anyone who may be affected if the AEGLvalues are adopted by government agencies for emergency planning,prevention, or response programs, such as EPA's Risk Management Programunder the Clean Air Act and Amendments Section 112r. It is possiblethat other Federal agencies besides EPA, as well as State agencies andprivate organizations, may adopt the AEGL values for their programs. Assuch, the Agency has not attempted to describe all the specificentities that may be affected by this action. If you have any questionsregarding the applicability of this action to a particular entity,consult the technical person listed under FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT.

The meeting of the NAC/AEGL Committee will be open to the public.Oral presentations or statements by interested parties will be limitedto 10 minutes. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the DFO toschedule presentations before the NAC/AEGL Committee. Since seating foroutside observers may be limited, those wishing to attend the meetingas observers are also encouraged to contact the DFO at the earliestpossible date to ensure adequate seating arrangements. Inquiriesregarding oral presentations and the submission of written statementsor chemical-specific information should be directed to the DFO.
III. Future Meetings
Another meeting of the NAC/AEGL Committee is scheduled for March 3-5, 2008 in Alexandria, Virgina. The NAC/AEGL Committee is planning toaddress at the meeting AEGL values for the following chemicals: 1,2-butylene oxide; allyl alcohol; cyanogen; ethyl benzene; ethylisocyanate; ethyl phosphonothioic dichloride; ethylphosphonodichloridate; germane; isobutyl isocyanate; isopropyl isocyanate;methoxy methyl isocyanate; methyl isothiocyanate; n-butyl isocyanate;nitrogen tetroxide; nitrogen trioxide; n-propyl isocyanate; phenylisocyanate; t-butyl isocyanate; trifluoroacetyl chloride;trimethylacetyl chloride.
